What is running to you?
It’s interesting how you list “community” yet for me running has always been a form of escapism and chance to be alone. I’ve been running as a recreation for the past 5 years and I have to say it has helped me a lot in terms of health and weight loss – but also given me a chance to sort my life a bit.
I agree with Jon…running is my escape time. Me time.
In a race, it’s me versus myself…how hard can I push myself?
