Guys, I wanted to take a second before getting back into some running and fitnessy goodness to promo my new crowdfunding campaign on Patreon.
A couple of years ago, I did a Kickstarter for my novel Birthright that was funded 155%. It was awesome. This is kind of like that, only way more awesome.
Why is it way more awesome? Because it only costs a buck. And instead of being for a particular story or novel, this campaign gives me an ongoing way for me to get new short fiction, novellas, and serial fiction put out on a regular schedule.
Yep, that’s right. I’m going to be putting out new fiction monthly that’s exclusive to the Patreon backers for a good long time before anyone else!
What is Patreon, you ask?
It’s a crowdfunding site that works on regular payments. Instead of supporting a particular project, you’re supporting me as a writer. Each month, I’ll post a new something, and if you’ve pledged at least a dollar, you’ll get access to it.
Instead of saying, “I’ll give him five bucks toward this awesome thing that will come out later this year,” you can say “I’ll give him a buck for this awesome thing that’s out right now.” Like five times. Or twelve times. Or a million.
Please do it a million times. Please.
It’s really simple and easy. So tell your friends and become a patron of the arts.
I mean, it’s only a buck, right?
If you’re interested, check out the new Patreon campaign, read some of the fiction I link there for free, and tell your friends.
