Just in case you guys missed it, I wanted to tell you guys that my interview for Runner’s World‘s “How Running Changed Me” series is now online. I may be biased, but I think that’s pretty friggin’ awesome. I talk about cool stuff like losing 150 lbs and running with asthma.
I have to say, it’s pretty surreal logging into Fitocracy and seeing someone tell you that your picture is on the main page of runnersworld.com. I mean, little old me. All internet famous and stuff.
Anyway, this post is just a #humblebrag to let you guys know how awesome I am. Teehee.
If you’re interested, you check it out.
This makes my week and really gives me the OOMPH! I needed. I’ve been a bit blue, not being able to surpass my 2:00+minute run/cool down ratio for the last few weeks, to the extent of skipping the occasional run during the week- dreading it, even. Breathing is such a chore, even with albuterol.
I know it has to improve, and I’ve come miles(and miles …) since June. I’m entering my first 5k this month, so that alone is progress in and of itself. I’m just frustrated. Thanks for the inspiration, for taking the time to share them, and congratulations on your own achievements and milestones!
Congratulations! 🙂 You know, this reminded me that I have been slacking lately. I had some issues with my left leg and maybe I should start running in bad weather as well. For some reason I would rather run in heat (got a sunstroke twice already, stupid, but well) than in cold or wet weather. But it’s getting worse here, autumn is coming.
Dedication leads to inspiration – I see it in your books. But this is no reason to start slacking on MMO gaming, you have been warned! 🙂
That really IS awesome! Congratulations! You are truly an inspiration!
That’s awesome, congrats!
